How to Create a New Campaign: Your Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to the New Campaign dashboard! A campaign acts as the central brain for your automated content.

Once configured, it will autonomously generate, format, and publish highly optimised articles directly to your store. Here is a breakdown of every setting so you can dial in your brand's perfect content strategy.

1. Campaign Setup

This section covers the basic administrative details of your campaign.

  • Campaign Name: This is purely for your internal organisation. Give it a memorable name (e.g., "Summer Shoe Reviews" or "Weekly Fitness Guides") so you can easily spot it in your dashboard.
  • Target Blog: Use the dropdown to select which of your live Shopify blogs you want these articles published to.

Note: If you haven't set up a blog on your storefront yet, you can learn how to do so by reading Shopify's official guide on adding a blog.

2. AI Blueprint Control Engine

This is where you define the core identity and language of your articles.

  • Target Demographic Audience Profile: Who are we writing for? You can use our default suggestion or type directly over it with a free-text description of your ideal customer (e.g., "Beginner marathon runners" or "Eco-conscious yoga enthusiasts").
  • Regional Dictionary Settings: Choose between UK British English (e.g., colour, customise, centre) or US American English (e.g., color, customize, center) to ensure the spelling matches your local market perfectly.

3. The 4-Pillar Prompt Matrix (The Blueprint Boxes)

To make getting started incredibly easy, we have pre-loaded the system with tried-and-tested AI prompts. You will find four distinct boxes to shape your content:

  • 1. Core Writing Intent Structure What is the fundamental purpose of the article? (e.g., A buying guide, an educational how-to, or a product review).
  • 2. Voice & Tone Architecture How should the article sound? (e.g., Journalistic, casual, or highly technical).
  • 3. Formatting Compliance Baseline Rules Specific rules for the AI to follow regarding layout and structure.
  • 4. AI Photography Aesthetic Layout The artistic direction for your generated images (e.g., Cinematic action photography or clean studio flat-lays).

💡 Pro Tip: While these presets are expertly crafted, you are not locked into them! Once you select a preset, you can click into the box and free-type over the text to highly customise the instructions for your specific brand guidelines.

4. Required Headings Outlines

Take control of the narrative structure. In this section, you can add, remove, or edit specific subheadings. These exact headings will be handed directly to the AI content writer, ensuring your blog always covers the specific talking points, FAQs, or product features you require.

5. Image Generation Settings

Bring your articles to life with bespoke, AI-generated photography.

  • Image Count: Select the number of images you want included in each blog post.
  • How they are placed: The first image generated is always assigned as your Hero Image (the featured image at the top of the post). Any additional images will be automatically and beautifully distributed throughout the body of the content.
  • SEO Optimised: Every single image is intelligently named and embedded with highly descriptive Alt-Text to maximise your SEO and accessibility rankings.

6. Publishing Schedule

Put your content on autopilot by defining exactly when it goes live.

  • Days & Times: Select the specific days of the week and the exact time of day you want the AI to hit "Publish".

💡 Pro Tip: A single campaign operates on one set time per day. If your strategy requires posting at different times of the day (e.g., 09:00 on Mondays, but 18:00 on Fridays), simply create more than one campaign!
